1. Booking & Reservation Confirmation
By booking any tour or activity on this website or through our official WhatsApp concierge, you confirm that you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Once your online reservation form is submitted, a booking reference number is generated and an official booking receipt is dispatched to your provided email address.
Our dispatch concierge will reach out to you via WhatsApp or phone call prior to your scheduled pickup time to reconfirm your hotel lobby location and room number.
2. 24-Hour Free Cancellation & Rescheduling
We understand that travel itineraries can change. We offer one of the most generous and flexible cancellation policies in the UAE:
- Free Cancellation: You may cancel or reschedule your reservation up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled departure time with zero penalty.
- Cancellations within 24 Hours: Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to tour departure may incur a 50% operational preparation charge.
- No-Show Policy: Guests who fail to appear at the designated hotel lobby at the scheduled pickup time without prior notice will forfeit the full reservation.
- Weather & Force Majeure: In rare cases where authorities close desert safari gates, maritime ports, or attractions due to heavy sandstorms, rainfall, or high winds, you will receive a free rescheduling or immediate 100% refund without any deduction.
3. Pricing & Payment Policy
All prices listed on our website are in UAE Dirhams (AED). When browsing our site in other currencies (USD, EUR, GBP, INR, PKR), rates are converted based on indicative live market exchange rates.
- Pay on Pickup: Standard reservations require no upfront advance payment. You can conveniently pay the exact agreed amount in cash (AED, USD, EUR, or GBP) directly to your licensed safari captain or tour chauffeur when they arrive at your hotel.
- Bank Transfers: Applicable for corporate bookings or guests who prefer bank settlement. Funds must clear in our UAE corporate bank account prior to tour commencement.
- Inclusions: All advertised rates include fuel surcharges, road tolls (Salik), vehicle insurance, and all items clearly listed under the "What's Included" section of the tour.
4. Child Policy & Guest Eligibility
- Infants (Under 3 years): Free of charge on city tours and private vehicle excursions. Must be accompanied by a responsible adult guardian.
- Children (Ages 3 to 10): Eligible for the discounted Child Rate.
- Adults (Ages 11 and above): Charged at standard Adult Rate.
- Desert Safari Health Advisories: High red dune bashing is not recommended for pregnant women, individuals with severe back or neck spinal ailments, or infants below 2 years of age. Such guests may opt for gentle desert driving directly to the Bedouin camp without dune bashing upon advance notice.
5. Dress Code & UAE Cultural Norms
Guests are respectfully requested to abide by local cultural expectations:
- Mosques (e.g., Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque): Conservative, modest attire is strictly enforced. Women must wear loose-fitting long sleeves and ankle-length pants/skirts, and cover their heads with an abaya or scarf. Men must wear shirts and trousers covering knees and shoulders. Transparent clothing or tight swimwear is strictly prohibited inside sacred areas.
- Desert Safaris & Water Cruises: Casual, lightweight sportswear, flip-flops or comfortable sneakers, sunglasses, and sun hats are recommended. Light jackets are advised during winter evenings (November to March).
6. Liability and Personal Belongings
All our transport vehicles, safari 4x4s, and cruise vessels are fully licensed, safety-inspected, and insured according to UAE Department of Economy and Tourism regulations. We provide professional licensed captains and drivers. However, Explore UAE Tours will not be held liable for loss or damage to personal items, jewelry, cameras, or electronic gear during high-speed outdoor activities such as dune bashing, sandboarding, or yacht charters. We advise guests to secure their valuables at all times.
7. Governing Law
These terms and any disputes arising from or in connection with the services provided by Explore UAE Tours shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the Federal Laws of the United Arab Emirates.
